Dan Geeding is founder and principal of Guidance Partners, a Cincinnati based management consulting firm, specializing in executive coaching, board governance, strategic planning, and financial strategy planning.
Dan formerly managed the financial and investment systems of Interact for Health as Executive Vice President and CFO. Prior to that he was a professor of management and former dean of the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. While at Xavier, he also directed the Executive MBA program, the Center for Leadership, and the Center for International Business.
Dan was a member of the Choicecare HMO board of trustees and currently serves as a director and chairman of the board of directors of Frisch’s Restaurants, Inc. Dan holds and has held leadership roles in many community organizations, including the United Way, The Center for Quality Leadership, the Corporation for Findlay Market, The Health Alliance, Mercy Health, and The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation.
He participated in Leadership Cincinnati and led the Alumni Association and is a frequently invited speaker and management consultant on strategic planning and board governance.
A certified public accountant, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Miami University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Cincinnati. He and his wife, Janet, have six children and 12 grandchildren.
