Ted Hamilton, MD is Senior Vice President for Mission & Ministry for Adventist Health System. For the past decade, his work has been primarily focused on promoting personal and professional wholeness for physicians. He is a founding member and current chair of the board of the Coalition for Physician Well-Being.
He graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and did his family practice training at Florida Hospital. Following several years of private practice, he directed the Florida Hospital family practice residency from 1980-87. He obtained his MBA from Rollins College, Crummer School, in 1987.
He has served on several local community boards and committees, including Orlando Healthcare Center for the Homeless, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Shepherd’s Hope, an outpatient health service for working poor.
